Norm Lewis and Jeremy Jordan Join New York City Center's A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair

Lewis and Jordan will join Bernadette Peters in the new Sondheim-Marsalis collaboration.

Tony nominee Norm Lewis (The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess) and Jeremy Jordan (Newsies) have joined two-time Tony winner Bernadette Peters (Annie Get Your Gun) in A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair at New York City Center. The project will also feature Cyrille Aimée, Meg Gillentine, and Tyler Hanes.

A Bed and a Chair will feature more than two dozen Sondheim compositions arranged and performed by Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. This Encores! special event will be directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle (Sweeney Todd). Conceived by Doyle, Peter Gethers, and Jack Viertel, the musical event will feature choreography by Parker Esse and musical supervision by David Loud. A Bed and a Chair will run for seven performances from November 13-17 at City Center.
