Girls Stars Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams Lead New Group Benefit Reading of Crimes of the Heart

The one-night-only event will also feature Marin Ireland and Sebastian Stan.

Girls stars Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams, along with Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland (Marie Antoinette), Sebastian Stan (Picnic), and Raviv Ullman (Russian Transport), will star in a benefit reading of Beth Henley's Crimes of the Heart for off-Broadway's The New Group on October 28. The casting was reported in an email blast sent around to the organization's patrons.

Crimes of the Heart will be directed by New Group artistic director Scott Elliott and take place at Theatre Row's The New Group. The 1981 Pulitzer Prize-winning tragicomedy follows MaGrath sisters Meg, Babe, and Lenny, who reunite at their grandfather's home after Babe shoots her abusive husband.
