Broadway Lottery, Rush, and Student Ticket Policies

This is a complete list of ticket policies on Broadway.

A Night With Janis Joplin

General Rush: $30.00 – A limited number of rush tickets located in the front row of the orchestra will be available for purchase in person at the Lyceum Theatre box office when it opens for that day's performance(s) only. There is a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances.

Annie

General Rush: $40.00 (including facility fee) – A limited number of rush tickets will be available for purchase in person at the Palace Theatre box office when it opens for that day's performance(s) only. There is a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances.

Student Tickets: $39.70 (including fees) – Available in advance through tix4students.com

The Book of Mormon

Lottery Rush: $32.00 – Entries will be accepted at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre box office beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance for up to two tickets. Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets. Only one entry is allowed per person. Cards are checked for duplication prior to drawing. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner. Tickets may be purchased in cash or with a valid credit card. Tickets are subject to availability.

Standing Room: $27.00 – Available at the box office one hour prior to curtain, only when the performance is sold out.

Chicago

General Rush: $37.00 – Available at the Ambassador Theatre box office when the box office opens. Limit two per customer. Not available for Saturday evenings. Subject to availability.

Standing Room: $27.00 – Available at the box office, day of performance, only when the performance is sold out.

Cinderella

Student Rush: $32.00 – Student rush tickets are currently available for performances on Tuesdays through Thursdays. These tickets will be available on the day of the show at the Broadway Theatre Box Office. Students with a valid student ID may purchase one ticket. Student rush tickets are subject to availability.

First Date

Student Rush: $30.00 – A limited number of student rush tickets can be purchased with a valid student ID at the Longacre Theatre box office (one ticket per ID) on the date of the performance.

Student Tickets: $39.25 (including fees) – These tickets can be purchased in advance through tix4students.com. Limit: two per ID.

The Glass Menagerie

Student Rush: $35.00 – A limited number of student rush tickets, which are subject to availability, can be purchased with a valid student ID at the Booth Theatre when the box office opens for the day of the performance on a first-come, first-served basis. The box office of the Booth Theatre opens at 10am Monday through Saturday, and at noon on Sunday. Student rush tickets are limited to two tickets per customer.

Jersey Boys

Student Rush: $27.00 – A limited number of Student Rush tickets are available at the August Wilson Theatre box office on the day of the performance beginning at 10am. Cash only. Two kinds of photo ID must be shown: a valid full-time student ID, as well as a government issued photo ID, driver's license, or passport. Limit: two tickets per person per 30 day period. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances. Locations may be partial view.

Standing Room: $27.00 – Standing Room tickets are available only on the day of the performance from the Box Office. Tickets are sold two hours before the performance for $27, cash only. Limit: one per person. Standing Room tickets are available only for sold-out performances; tickets will not be available for all performances. Standing Room prices and times of sales are subject to change without notice.

Kinky Boots

Lottery: $37.00 – Entries will be accepted at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre box office beginning two-and-a-half hours prior to each performance. Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets. Limit: one entry per person and two tickets per winner – entries will be checked for duplicates. Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid photo ID to purchase tickets. Tickets may be purchased in cash or with a valid credit card. Subject to availability. Seats may be partial view.

Standing Room: $27.00 – Available at the box office only on the day of the performance (only sold when the performance is sold out).

Mamma Mia!

Student Rush: $31.50 – May be available on day of performance when the Winter Garden Theatre box office opens. Subject to availability. Limit two tickets per valid ID.

Standing Room: $21.25 – Available at the box office on the day of the performance only if the performance is sold out. Goes on sale two hours prior to curtain. Limit is 2 per person.

Matilda the Musical

Lottery: $27.00 – A minimum of 20 tickets will be sold via lottery for each performance. Beginning two-and-a-half hours before every performance, patrons are invited to enter the lottery at the Shubert Theatre; winners will then be drawn two hours before each performance. Each person will print their name and the number of tickets (a two-ticket limit) they wish to purchase on a card that is provided. Entries will be collected and names will be drawn at random. Winners will then be able to purchase tickets at $27 each. (Cards are checked for duplication prior to drawing.) Winners must be present at the time of the drawing and show valid ID to purchase tickets. Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner. Do appreciate that lottery tickets are absolutely nontransferable: The person entering the lottery must also be the person attending the show. Tickets are subject to availability. Depending on the performance, some seat locations may be partial view. Note that there is limit of two lottery tickets per winner within a 30-day period.

Standing Room: $27.00 – Available on the day of the performance when the box office opens. Only available when the performance is sold out. Limit two tickets per person.

Newsies

Lottery: $30.00 – A limited number of orchestra tickets will be available via lottery at the Nederlander Theatre. Beginning two-and-a-half hours before every performance, patrons are invited to enter the lottery; winners will be drawn two hours before each performance. Winners may then purchase up to two $30.00, cash-only tickets to that day's performance.

A Night with Janis Joplin

General Rush: $30.00 – A limited number of rush tickets located in the front row of the orchestra will be available for purchase in-person at the Lyceum Theatre box office when it opens at 10am for that day's performance(s) only. There is a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances.

No Man's Land & Waiting for Godot

General Rush: $30.00 – The front row of the orchestra and other locations will be available exclusively to rush-ticket buyers. Tickets will be available for purchase beginning at 10am daily (and noon on Sundays when the box office is open) for $30.00 (including facility fee), two tickets maximum per person, on the day of the performance, subject to availability. Tickets must be purchased in person at the Cort Theatre box office.

Once

General Rush: $34.50 (Tuesday-Thursday) and $39.50 (Friday-Sunday) – A limited number of general rush seats will be sold for each performance, on the day of the show only, when the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre box office opens. Rush tickets can be purchased by cash or charge at the box office. On two-show days, rush tickets for both shows will be sold when the box office opens. Locations will be at the theatre's discretion. Each patron in line may purchase a maximum of two tickets.

The Phantom of the Opera

Student Tickets: $34.25 (including fees) – Available at tix4students.com. Limited to two tickets per valid student ID.

Last two rows: $26.25 – Tickets in the last two rows of the Rear mezzanine are priced at $26.25 for Monday through Thursday performances. These tickets may be purchased online or at the Majestic Theatre box office.

Pippin

General Rush: $37.00 – A limited number of rush tickets will be available for purchase in person at the Music Box Theatre box office when it opens at 10am (noon on Sundays) for that day's performance only. There is a limit of one ticket per person. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances. Cash or credit is accepted.

Rock of Ages

Student Rush: $37.00 – Available day of show when the Helen Hayes Theatre box office opens, subject to availability. Must show student ID. Only two tickets per student ID. Cash only.

Student Tickets: $44.25 (including fees) – Available at tix4students.com. Limited to two tickets per valid student ID.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark

General Rush: $39.00 – A limited number of rush tickets are offered each morning at the Foxwoods Theatre Box Office. Tickets are limited to two per person, and are subject to availability.

Student Tickets: $45.50 (including fees) – Available at tix4students.com. Limited to two tickets per valid ID.

Soul Doctor

General Rush: $30.00 – A limited number of tickets will be available each day at the Circle in the Square Theatre box office beginning at 10am for that day's performance(s) only. There is a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets are subject to availability and may not be offered at all performances.

Wicked

Lottery: $30.00 – A day-of-performance lottery for front-row seats will be held daily. Each day, two-and-a-half hours prior to showtime, people who present themselves at the Gershwin Theatre box office will have their names placed in a hat. Thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for 26 front-row seats at $30.00 each. This lottery is available only in person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person, cash only. Photo ID required. Participants may enter their names ONE TIME ONLY PER PERFORMANCE; anyone who is discovered to have multiple entries will be disqualified and tickets will be revoked.

The Winslow Boy

Student Rush: A limited number of half-price seats sold a half hour before curtain. They are subject to availability and limited to one per person with a valid student ID.

General Rush: $32.00 – A limited number of tickets sold when the American Airlines Theatre box office opens on the day of the performance. Tickets are subject to availability and limited to two per person. Tickets located in the rear sides of the mezzanine. Cash or credit card.

Hiptix: $25.00 – Hiptix is Roundabout's low-price ticket program for theatergoers 18–35. It's free to join and gets you $20–25 tickets to all Roundabout shows. Registration is required. Ticket may be purchased in advance as availability dictates. Info at: hiptix.com
