TR Knight, Lily Rabe, Roger Rees, Michael Urie to Participate in Red Bull Theater’s Revelation Readings

Red Bull Theater has announced details for its 2012-2013 Revelation Readings series, which presents staged readings of new plays and rarely performed classic texts.

The full list of readings will include Moliere’s The Miser, directed by Doug Hughes; Lord Byron’s Sardanapalus; Patrick Page‘s Swansong, directed by Roger Rees; Ben Johnson’s The Alchemist, diredted by Michael Sexton; John Webster’s The White Devil, directed by Kay Matschullat; David Ives’ The Liar, directed by Michael Kahn; April de Angelis’ A Laughing Matter, directed by Vivienne Benesch; Oliver Goldsmith’s She Stoops to Conquer, directed by Mark Lamos; August Strindberg’s A Dream Play, directed by Craig Baldwin; and J.M. Barrie’s The Admirable Crichton, directed by Marc Vietor.

The season of readings will come to a close with the New Play Festival on May 13.

Actors who will participate in the readings include Maria Dizzia, Richard Kind, TR Knight, Jan Maxwell, Patrick Page, Lily Rabe, Matthew Rauch, Reg Rogers, J. Smith-Cameron, Michael Stuhlbarg, Michael Urie, and more.
