Studio 42 will be presenting the 12th annual Studio Sessions: The Reading Series, which will present two days of four "unproducible" plays, October 14 and 21 at the Manhattan Theatre Club Studios.

Plays which will be featured in the series include Wasps by Ken Urban (October 14 at 4 pm), a loose adaptation of Aristophanes' The Wasps in which Bedazzler tries to emancipate herself from her foul-mouthed father. The cast will include Alex Cook, Boo Killebrew, Vin Knight, Sue Jean Kim, Brian Miskell, Ariela Morgenstern, Caitlin Rigney, Natalie Saibel, Hugh Sinclair, and Liz Wisan. Later that day, J.C. Lee's Into the Clear Blue Sky (October 14 at 6 pm), an odyssey through post-apocalyptic New Jersey, will be presented with a cast featuring Opal Alladin, Ryan Andes, Jocelyn Bioh, Adam Blodgett, and Jon Norman Schneider.

The following weekend will include Bad Panda by Megan Gogerty (October 21 at 4 pm), the story of pandas Gwo Gwo and Marion, who are sure they're the last two pandas on earth. Performances will be by Mike Braun, Mallory Portnoy, David Mitsch and Adam Blodgett. The final reading will be of Joshua Conkel's Sprawl (October 21 at 6 pm), in which local residents of Clear Creek get more than they bargained for as they venture into Terra Incognita.

All performances are free with no reservation required.
