Stephen Colbert, Barbara Cook, Billy Ray Cyrus, Gina Gershon Set for Barnes & Noble Events

Barnes and Noble has revealed an updated list of events for its New York City stores in the next two months, many involving stars who have appeared on stage.

Among the highlights are appearances by cast members from Encores’ Merrily We Roll Along (86th Street, October 1); Stephen Colbert (Union Square, October 2); Betty Buckley & Seth Rudetsky (86th Street, October 8); Stanley Tucci (82nd Street, October 12); Michael Feinstein (86th Street, October 17); Gina Gershon (Tribeca, October 25); cast members from Broadway’s Nice Work If You Can Get It (86th Street, October 30); Billy Ray Cyrus – soon to appear in Broadway’s Chicago (Tribeca, November 28); and Barbara Cook (86th Street).

In addition, there will be a performance and signing in conjunction with the late Marvin Hamlisch‘s Marvin Makes Music at the 86th Street location on November 8, with guests to be announced.

Additional celebrity appearances will include the likes of Fred Armisen, Tony Bennett, Carrie Brownstein, Terry Pratchett, Kenny Rogers, Oliver Stone, Rod Stewart, Pete Townshend, and more.
