Mika Gets Wicked "Popular" at Webster Hall Concert

By New York City

Kristin Chenoweth, Kanye West, and now Mika.

The British-born pop singer is the latest artist to incorporate "Popular" -- the comic first act number from the hit musical Wicked -- in one of his own tunes.

Featured on his new album The Origin of Love, "Popular Song," sung with Priscilla Renea, looks at all of the former haters who now want to be his BFF now that he's become famous.

The Origin of Love was released in September, but Mika sang the number live with a back-up chorus at his recent concert at Webster Hall.

Chenoweth, of course, originated the song on Broadway in 2003, and West, in 2010, famously sampled the song, and now Mika follows suit. You can watch the video from the concert below.
