Kathleen Chalfant, Marin Ireland to Light Up Free Spark Reading at Cherry Lane

A special free reading of Caridad Svich’s new play, Spark, will be held at the Cherry Lane Theatre on Sunday, November 11 at 8pm. It will be followed by an expert panel discussion on the experience of women veterans facing trauma and assault while serving.

Obie Award winner Kathleen Chalfant will host the event, as well as participate in the panel discussion.

The work, to be directed by Scott Schwartz, centers on a family of sisters in North Carolina, one of whom is a returning veteran from a recent war.

The cast will includes Louis Cancelmi, Peter Jay Fernandez, Marin Ireland, Jocelyn Kuritsky, and Gloria Mann.
