The Drama League's 29th Musical Celebration of Broadway will honor five-time Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald. The event will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Pierre Hotel.

A black-tie gala, the evening will feature stars of Hollywood and Broadway performing musical selections from McDonald's career. It will support the Drama League's educational initiatives for promising young artists.

McDonald won Tony Awards for her performances in The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, A Raisin in the Sun, Master Class, Ragtime, and Carousel. Her additional stage credits include 110 in the Shade, Marie Christine, and concert stagings of Passion and Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny.
