On Sunday, October 14, the MCC Theater production of Stephen Belber's Don't Go Gentle opened at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

Opening night guests included Michael Chernus, Paul Downs Colaizzo, Adam Duritz, Christopher Fitzgerald, Dominic Fumusa, Montego Glover, David Greenspan, Thomas Higgins, Marin Ireland, Andy Mientus, Arian Moayed, Laura Osnes, Tonya Pinkins, Connie Ray, Laila Robbins, Krysta Rodriguez, Will Rogers, Brooke Shields, Cynthia Silver, Cotter Smith, and Sharr White.

The play centers around a retired conservative judge who volunteers to do pro bono legal work with a vulnerable ex-con with a troubled teenage son, while working to restore his relationships with his own children.

The cast features David Wilson Barnes, Maxx Brawer, Michael Cristofer, Angela Lewis, and Jennifer Mudge
