Lincoln Square Business Improvement District will ring in the holiday season on Monday, November 26 with their 13th annual Winter’s Eve celebration, featuring live performances, restaurant tastings, a free trolley up and down Broadway, and the lighting of the neighborhood’s holiday tree.

The evening will kick-off at 5pm in Dante Park with performances by singer/songwriter Suzanne Vega, the cast of Off-Broadway’s Avenue Q, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. The tree will also be lit at that time, featuring glass and silver ornaments from Wendy Addison and Tinsel Trading, in conjunction with the American Folk Art Museum.

Live-performances will also include clowns from the Big Apple Circus, the Texas-based Grammy Award-winning Brave Combo, the kids rock group Dirty Sock Funtime Band, the performing arts group COBU, and the Show Choir from LaGuardia High School.
