The Broadway company of Chicago, gave a special benefit performance at the Ambassador Theatre on Tuesday, October 11 at 8pm, which was followed by a reception at E&E Grill House.
Presented in conjunction with Givenik.com, the event benefitted four of star Kara DioGuardi's favorite charities: 11Phoenix House, Columbus Citizens Foundation, Malaria No More, and Sister Domingas and Friends Foundation.
Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. In addition to DioGuardi, who plays Roxie Hart, the current cast also features Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tony Yazbeck as Billy Flynn, Chris Sullivan as Amos Hart, and Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton.
