Nora Ephron is adapting the BBC miniseries Lost in Austen for a feature film, according to a report in Variety. She will also direct the project.

The movie will focus on a contemporary young woman who is transported into the middle of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.

Ephron’s stage work includes Imaginary Friends, seen on Broadway, along with the Off-Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore, written with her sister Delia Ephron. She has received three Academy Award nominations, for screenplays for Silkwood and When Harry Met Sally, and Sleepless in Seattle, which she also directed. Among her other film credits as a director are Julie & Julia, You’ve Got Mail, and This Is My Life.
