Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, et al. Set for VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul Concert

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, Jessie J, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Florence and the Machine, and The Roots will be among the acts participating in VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul, according to published reports.
The concert will be taped on December 18 in New York City, and air on VH1 on December 19.
The concert will pay tribute to the places that helped create or contributed to the genre, including Chicago, Detroit, London, Philadelphia and Memphis.
