James Macdonald to Direct Mike Bartlett’s Cock Off-Broadway Spring 2012

James Macdonald will direct the Off-Broadway premiere of Mike Bartlett’s Olivier Award winning new play, Cock, at a theater to be announced in Spring 2012.

In the play, when John takes a break from his boyfriend, he accidentally meets the girl of his dreams. The work takes a playful, candid look at one man’s sexuality and the difficulties that arise when you realize you have a choice.

Cock will be produced by Stuart Thompson, Jean Doumanian and the Royal Court following an acclaimed production at the Royal Court Theatre in London.
