Tony Award nominee David Garrison will assume the role of Hannibal Lecter in SILENCE! The Musical when it begins performances on October 25 at the 9th Space Theater at P.S. 122. Christopher Gattelli has directed and choreographed the production.

The show, with a book by Hunter Bell and music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, is an unauthorized parody of the thriller Silence of the Lambs, which focuses on rookie FBI agent Clarice Starling as she uses her relationship with Dr. Hannibal Lecter to hunt serial killer Buffalo Bill.

The company will also feature original cast members Jenn Harris (Clarice), Stephen Bienskie (Buffalo Bill), Lucia Spina (Catherine Martin) and Deidre Goodwin (Ardelia Mapp). The cast will also feature Callan Bergmann, Pamela Bob, Harry Bouvy, Ashlee Dupré, Howard Kaye, Topher Nuccio, and Doug Trapp.

The production features set design by Scott Pask, costume design by David Kaley, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, and sound design by Carl Casella.

Garrison received a Tony Award nomination for A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine. His many stage credits include Wicked, Bells Are Ringing, and Titantic, Olive and the Bitter Herbs, By the Way, Meet Vera Stark, Middletown, and New Jerusalem.
