Darren Criss to Make Guest Appearance in Team Starkid’s The Space Tour in New York

Darren Criss will make a guest appearance in the national tour of The Space Tour (StarKid Precarious Auditory Concert Experience) for two performances when it plays New York’s Irving Plaza, November 26 at Noon and 5pm. The tour will launch on November 4 with a performance at The Michigan Theater.

Other tour engagements will include the London Music Hall in London, Ontario (November 5), The Mod Club in Toronto (November 6), House of Blues in Cleveland, OH (November 7), The Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL (November 8), House of Blues in New Orleans, LA (November 10), Antone’s in Austin, TX (November 12), House of Blues in Dallas, TX (November 13), Center Stage Theater in Atlanta, GA (November 15), The Fillmore Charlotte in Charlotte, NC (November 19), The Fillmore Silver Spring in Silver Springs, MD (November 20), Bogart’s in Cincinnati, OH (November 22), and House of Blues in Boston, MA (November 25).

Directed by Julia Albain, the show is a compilation of numbers from many of the productions produced by the Chicago-based group Team StarKid, including A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel, Me and My Dick, and Starship. Opening for the production will be songwriter Charlene Kaye.

Criss will be taking over the lead role in the Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and is best known as Blaine on Glee.
