Cheryl Freeman, Des McAnuff, Billy Porter, et al. Set for Rockers on Broadway

Updated casting has been announced for Rockers on Broadway – Halloween Spooktacular, the latest edition of the Rock and Roll concert series, to be held at the Midtown Theatre at the HA! Comedy Club on Monday October 31, at 7pm and 10pm. Donnie Kehr will direct the performance.

Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff, Dustin Brayley, Margaret Kelly, and Steve Gouviea will join the previously announced Ben Cameron, Eric Michael Crop, Felicia Finley, Cheryl Freeman, Jarrod Emick, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Emma Hunton, Delisco James, Michael Lanning, Gerry MacIntyre, Billy Porter, Jeremy Schonfeld, Brandon Wardell, and Alena Watters, along with the Broadway Dolls.

In addition the event will feature guest appearances by Randy Jones and Tommy Byrnes.

The evening will include Halloween-themed rock classics such as “Sympathy for the Devil,” performed by McAnuff and “The Acid Queen, performed by Freeman, along with “Witchcraft,” “Thriller,” and “Time Warp,” among others.

The evening will also feature a costume contest presided over by a panel of all-star judges.

Proceeds will benefit The Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
