Charlotte d’Amboise, Bahiyah Sayyed Gaines, John O’Hurley to Star in Broadway’s Chicago

On Tuesday, November 1, John O’Hurley will return to the role of Billy Flynn, Charlotte d’Amboise will once again play Roxie Hart, and Bahiyah Sayyed Gaines will co-star as Velma Kelly in the Broadway production of Chicago, at the Ambassador Theatre. The trio will lead the cast as the production celebrates its milestone 15th anniversary on Broadway on Monday, November 14.

Featuring a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, Chicago has been directed by Walter Bobbie and choreographed by Ann Reinking. The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), William Ivey Long (costume design), Ken Billington (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).

The Broadway production also stars Chris Sullivan as Amos Hart, Carol Woods as Matron “Mama” Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. Current headliners Kara DioGuardi (Roxie Hart), Amra-Faye Wright (Velma Kelly) and Tony Yazbeck (Billy Flynn) conclude their runs on Sunday, October 30.

The Chicago ensemble currently features Donna Marie Asbury, Nili Bassman, Nicoel Bridgewater, Dylis Croman, Michael Cusumano, Jennifer Dunne, James Harkness, David Kent, J. Leoffelholz, Melissa Rae Mahon, Sharon Moore, Peter Nelson, Jill Nicklaus, Brian O’Brien, Jason Patrick Sands, Brian Spitulnik, Ryan Worsing and Adam Zotovich.
