Catherine Zeta-Jones to Star in Broken City Film

Tony Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones will star opposite Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe in the film Broken City, according to Deadline.com.
Allen Hughes will direct the film, which is written by Brian Tucker. Crowe will play the Mayor of New York, Zeta-Jones will play his philandering, and Wahlberg will play a detective who is hired by the mayor to identify his wife’s lover.
Zeta-Jones won the Tony for the revival of A Little Night Music. She won the Oscar for Chicago. Her many other films include No Reservations and The Mask of Zorro, and she will soon be seen in the film version of the Broadway musical Rock of Ages.
