Cast of Chix 6 to Perform at Comic Con

Cast members from the new musical Chix 6 will perform selections from the show at the Comic Con Festival at the Javits Center in New York City on Friday, October 14 at 12:15pm.

In addition to the show’s author Lourds Lane, participating cast members include Celina Carvajal, Danielle Lee Greaves, Nicolette Hart, and Carrie Manolakos.

This new rock musical tells the story of Katie, a comic book artist trapped in an unhealthy relationship with Jay, a narcissistic musician who will do whatever it takes to get ahead. When Jay’s emotional games become too much to bear, Katie’s creations — a quintet of strong, sassy, superheroines — come to life, leaping off the page to teach the vulnerable artist how to be strong and make changes in her life.

D.J. Salisbury directs the production, which performs at Queens Theatre, through October 30.
