Barefoot Theatre Company Announces Cast for Israel Horovitz’s Gloucester Blue

Barefoot Theatre Company has announced casting for a workshop production of Israel Horovitz’s Gloucester Blue, which will conclude the company’s STRIPPED festival with performances at the Cherry Lane Studio Theatre, November 16-December 3. Horovitz will also direct.

This black comedy is about a man who returns home after a long absence and encounters all manner of infidelities and murders.

The cast will feature Therese Plaehn, Francisco Solorzano, Christopher Whalen, and Robert Walsh.

The production will feature sound by the playwright’s son, by Adam Horovitz, who is perhaps better known as Ad-Rock from the punk/rap group The Beastie Boys. The design team will also include Victoria Malvagno (costume design), Niluka Hotaling (lighting design), and Michael Mallard (set design).
