Amy Sedaris to Join CBS’ The Good Wife

Amy Sedaris will join the cast of CBS’ The Good Wife, according to a report on TVGuide.com. She will play a lobbyist who starts stealing clients from Eli Gold, the character played by Alan Cumming.

Sedaris is part of the Obie-winning “Talent Family” playwright team with her brother, David Sedaris. Among her stage credits are Wonder of the World, The Country Club, and The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. She is best known as the star and co-creator of the TV series Strangers With Candy.

The Good Wife stars Julianna Margulies, Josh Charles, and Christine Baranski. Upcoming guest stars will also include Tony Award winner Leslie Uggams and Dylan Baker.
