Aaron Lazar to Perform The Tao of Broadway at Le Poisson Rouge

Aaron Lazar will perform his new solo show, The Tao of Broadway at Le Poisson Rouge on November 7, at 6:30pm. Featuring musical direction by Andrew Resnick, the show will include a wide selection of songs from Samuel Barber to David Zippel to Stephen Sondheim.

Lazar was most recently seen on Broadway as Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm in the revival of Sondheim’s A Little Night Music opposite both Catherine Zeta-Jones and Bernadette Peters. He originated roles in A Tale of Two Cities, the world premiere of Impressionism, and the revival of Les Miserables, for which he received a Drama Desk Award nomination. He was also seen as Fabrizio in the Tony Award-winning production of The Light in the Piazza at Lincoln Center, which was also filmed for PBS. Additional credits include the Broadway revival of Oklahoma! and The Phantom of the Opera.

On television, Lazar portrays international news reporter O’Brady Shaw on the comedic Onion News Network, which airs on IFC. He will soon be seen in the film, J. Edgar.
