Rufus Collins to Star in Michael I. Walker’s Letter From Algeria

Broadway veteran Rufus Collins will star in the world premiere of Michael I. Walker’s Letter From Algeria, to be presented at the June Havoc Theatre at Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, October 29-November 20. Adam Fitzgerald will direct.

In the play, three young Americans meet while studying abroad in Belgium. When their wit, charm, and sex appeal casts a spell on a wealthy older gentleman, it seems like a golden opportunity to explore a new world.

The cast will also feature Amanda Jane Cooper, Patrick Murney, and JD Taylor. The production team will include Travis McHale (set and lighting design) and Amanda Jenks (costume design).

Collins’ Broadway credit include The Royal Family, To Be Or Not To Be and An Ideal Husband. He also co-starred in the Williamstown Theater Festival production of The Autumn Garden.
