On Monday, October 4, television personality Carson Kressley and Tony Award winner and
Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez hosted
Broadway Takes the Runway: An Evening of Fashion and Song at the Touch Nightclub to benefit the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation, which Kressley and Ramirez founded after the death of their friend due to liver cancer in 2008.
Directed by Schele Williams, the evening also featured performances by Tony Award winner Audra McDonald, Memphis star Montego Glover, Emmy Award winner Michael Park, Christopher Jackson, La Caga Aux Folles star Robin DeJesus, Angels in America star Billy Porter, and YouTube sensation Natalie Weiss, with musical director Mary Mitchell Campbell at the piano.
Also in attendance were One Life To Live star Lenny Platt, The Merchant of Venice‘s David Harbour, Lombardi‘s Bill Dawes, and former Next Fall star Patrick Heusinger.
