The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Memphis, which will officially celebrate its one year anniversary on October 19, has announced that stars Chad Kimball (Huey), Montego Glover (Felicia), Derrick Baskin (Gator), J. Bernard Calloway (Delray), and James Monroe Iglehart (Bobby) have extended their contracts through September 2011.

Memphis is based on a concept by George W. George and features book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, with music and lyrics by Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan.

Set in the segregated South of the 1950s, the musical follows the fictionalized life story of white radio disc jockey Huey Calhoon, who falls in love with both rock & roll and an electrifying black singer, Felicia Farrell.

The cast also features Michael McGrath (Mr. Simmons), and Cass Morgan (Gladys Calhoun), both of whom will also be continuing with the show
