Broadway veteran and country music superstar Reba McEntire received four nominations, including Artist of the Year, while Tony Award nominee Laura Bell Bundy got a nomination in the Breakthrough Artist: Music Video category for Giddy On Up.

Easton Corbin and Lady Antebellum received seven nominations each. Other nominated artists include Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Jewel, Joe Nichols, George Strait, Luke Bryan, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band, Danny Gokey, and Billy Currington.
