Jolly Abraham, Denis Butkus, Samantha Soule et al. Set for Upcoming Cino Nights

Casting has been announced for the next two installments of Cino Nights, a series of commissioned plays, presented for one-night-only performances by Rising Phoenix Rep at the Seventh Street Small Stage, the intimate back room space at Jimmy’s No. 43 in the East Village.

Jolly Abraham, Sarah Baskin, and Bernardo Cubria will star in Mando Alvarado’s (o)n the 5:31 (October 24), described as “A bar. A blind date. And a deconstruction of how it all began. (o)n the 5:31 takes a trip into what is remembered and what could have been.” Taibi Magar will direct.

Denis Butkus and Samantha Soule will star in Courtney Baron’s new play on November 7, directed by Daniel Talbott. Additional details will be announced at a later date.
