In the Heights Star Jordin Sparks to Launch New Fragrance in October

Former American Idol champion and current In the Heights star Jordin Sparks will launch a new fragrance, Because of You, next month, according to an interview in WWD.

Set to hit counters next week, the fragrance will first be sold at Dots next month; it will then be sold at Target. It will first be offered at an introductory price of $9.50 for a 2.5-oz. bottle before jumping to $14.95 on November 1.

Sparks told the magazine she has other beauty plans for the future, hoping to eventually do color cosmetics and skin care.
