Harriet Harris, Marc Kudisch, Brad Oscar, A.J. Shively, et al. Set for Project Shaw’s Captain Brassbound’s Conversion

La Cage Aux Folles star A.J. Shively will join the previously reported Harriet Harris, Marc Kudisch, and Brad Oscar in Project Shaw‘s presentation of Captain Brassbound’s Conversion, to be offered on October 25 at 7pm at The Players Club. David Staller will direct the performance, which will be hosted by theater critic Michael Feingold and have narration by journalist Michael Riedel.
In the comedy, Captain Brassbound (Kudisch) is an infamous pirate, living his life for revenge. Into his world comes a notorious British lady adventurer (Harris) who not only takes him on, but the marauding Arab tribes and entire U.S. fleet, as well. Shively will play Drinkwater, the young street-wise cockney pirate who is slavishly devoted to Captain Brassbound.
The cast will also feature Matthew Baldiga, Ariel Estrada, Philip Glassborow, Glenn Kalison, David Ian Lee, James Rana, and Paul Singleton.
