Eve Ensler to Be Honored at Let’s Breakthrough Together Gala October 22

Eve Ensler will receive the Inspiration Award from the human rights organization, Breakthrough, at its Let’s Breakthrough Together Gala, at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on October 22 at 7pm.

Additional honorees will include Dr. Peter Ackerman and Patricia and Madhav Dhar.

Ensler is best known for her groundbreaking show, The Vagina Monologues. She performed her solo play, The Good Body on Broadway in 2004, and recently directed Swimming Upstream, about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, as a benefit for V-Day, an organization founded by Ensler that works to stop violence against women and girls.
