Performances for Deep Throat Sex Scandal and Perfect Harmony, both running at The Bleecker Street Theatre (45 Bleecker), have been canceled to a dispute with the theater's landlord, which has resulted in the padlocking and closing of the theater.

"Like many New Yorkers, we are in dispute with our landlord. Due to litigation we have no comment at this time. Further information will be posted as it becomes available," said a statement on the theater's web site.

David Bertolino's play about the iconic 1970s porn film officially opened on October 10 and was scheduled to continue performances through December 19. A spokesperson for the show said the production has closed: "At this point, the company cannot gain access to the set, costumes, props, or audio-visual equipment (as well as actors' personal property), so a move to another theater is impossible at this time."

Perfect Harmony had begun previews and had been scheduled to officially open on Sunday, October 17. A spokesperson said a move to another theater was possible if the company could get its sets and costumes, but had no other details.
