Baayork Lee to Direct NAAP Reading of Oklahoma!

National Asian Artists Project and producer Nikole Vallins will present a fully staged-reading of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! at 7pm on Monday, October 25 at Theatre Row’s Acorn Theatre. The production will be directed by Baayork Lee, with music staging by Nina Zoie Lam and music direction by Kevin Farrell.

The cast will feature: Manna Nichols (Laurey), Andrew Cao (Curly), Lori Tan Chin (Aunt Eller), Marie France Arcilla(Ado Annie), Marc DeLa Cruz (Will Parker), Kelvin Moon Loh (Jud), David Shih(Ali Hakim), Celia Mei Rubin (Gertie), Herman Sebek (Carnes), Mel Maghuyop (Ike Skidmore), and Rebecca Hirota, Emy Baysic, Brooke Ishibashi, Joanne Javien, Whitney Lee, Marcus Shane, Billy Bustamante, and Brian Jose.

Lee is best known for starring in the original Broadway production of A Chorus Line and her work on the Broadway revival of the show.
