Andrew Lippa’s Music to Be Celebrated at November 22 Ars Nova Benefit Concert

Songwriter Andrew Lippa will be celebrated at a benefit concert to be held on November 22 at 7pm at Ars Nova. Mary-Mitchell Campbell will serve as musical director of the event, which will help underwrite the company’s ongoing work to develop new theater works.

This performance will be a “behind the music”-style evening, featuring Lippa’s songs, both old and new. Casting for the concert will be announced at a later date.

Lippa’s credits include The Addams Family, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Wild Party and john and jen. In addition, he has
been affiliated with the theater since its inception, having been an Artist-in-Residence as well as a co-founder and curator of the company’s emerging composer series Uncharted.
