Alex Emanuel, Trav SD, Yvonne Roen, et al. Set for Untitled Theater Company #61’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?

Untitled Theater Company #61 (UTC61) has announced casting for Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, to run November 18 – December 11 at 3LD Art and Technology Center. Edward Einhorn will direct the production.

Adapted by Einhorn, the piece is based on Philip K. Dick’s sci-fi noir classic about androids and a bounty hunter, which inspired the film Blade Runner. The story centers on Rick Deckard, who both loves machines and loves killing them.

The company will feature Alex Emanuel (Rick Deckard), Yvonne Roen (Rachael Rosen), and Trav SD (Buster Friendly), as well as Ian W. Hill, Timothy Babcock, Saysha Heinzman, Uma Incrocci, Christian Pedersen, and Ken Simon.

The multimedia production will incorporate multiple projectors mixing live feed with prerecorded images, and a mixture of electric cello, live looping, and operatic performance by Moira Stone of an original score by Henry Akona.
