The Brick to Present Fight Fest Stage Combat Festival

The Brick Theater, in association with Art Meets Commerce, will present Fight Fest, December 1-20, a festival dedicated to showcasing the art of stage combat, curated by Timothy Haskell, Abby Marcus, Qui Nguyen, and the staff of The Brick.

This three week theater festival will feature many forms of stage battle, including Rapier, Chainsaw, Martial Arts, Trash Cans, Pirate Skirmishes, Firearms, Aerobics-based Catfights, Cartoon Violence, and Simian Combat.

The festival performances will include The Abridged ‘Branded to Kill’, presented by Depth Charge; The Buccaneer, presented by Fighto LLP; Craven Monkey and the Mountain of Carnage, presented by Piper McKenzie Productions; Deck the Hallmans!, presented by Ten Directions; Evolution, presented by En Garde Entertainment; Last Life, presented by Tim Haskell; The Ninja Cherry Orchard, presented by The Brick Theater, Inc; Power Burn 3, presented by Cat Fight Productions; and Sailor Man, presented by Two-Fisted Theater Co.
