Robert LuPone to Cover for Dominic Chianese in Still Life October 24

MCC Theater has announced that its co-artistic director Robert LuPone will play the role of Theo — usually portrayed by Dominic Chianese, who has a previously scheduled engagement — for two performances of Still Life at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, on Saturday, October 24 at 2pm and 8pm.

Alexander Dinelaris’ play is about a photographer who inexplicably shuts down at the pinnacle of her career. The cast also includes Halley Feiffer, Ian Kahn, Adriane Lenox, Kelly McAndrew, Sarah Paulson, Matthew Rauch, and Frederick Weller.

The creative team will include David Korins (scenic design), Sarah J. Holden (costume design), David Weiner (lighting design), Fitz Patton (sound design), and Michael Friedman (original music).
