Gennifer Flowers to Debut Solo Show in New Orleans Before NYC

Gennifer Flowers is preparing an autobiographical solo show, entitled Gennifer Unexpected which she plans to debut in New Orleans in Spring 2010, with New York and national runs to follow.

The show, to be written by Paul Cozby, will cover Flowers’ life, including her relationship with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, her experience living in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina, and other topics. Flowers has been performing professionally since she was 11 years old, and was last seen in New York in Boobs.

“The message of the show is not only that one can survive life challenges, even those played out before the world, but also thrive,” Flowers told TheaterMania. “It’s been a hell of a bull ride, but I still have a smile on my face.”
