Stephen Hanna, who co-stars in Broadway's Billy Elliot as Billy's older self, will rejoin the company of New York City Ballet as a guest artist for 2009-2010 winter season, according to The New York Times. The newspaper also reports than Hanna will leave the Broadway show in October.

Hanna, who will assume his former rank as principal dancer, joined the corps of City Ballet in 1997; he was promoted to soloist in 2004, and made a principal dancer in 2005.

Billy Elliot won 10 Tony Awards earlier this year, including Best Musical.
