Patti LuPone Set for November 3 TimesTalk

Tony Award-winning actress Patti LuPone, now starring in the hit Broadway show Gypsy, will be interviewed by Anthony Tommasini, chief music critic of The New York Times, as part of the TimesTalks Series, at 6:30pm at the TimesCenter. The event is being held in cooperation with The New York LGBT Community Center.
The discussion will be followed by a CD sale and signing of the November 11 Ghostlight Records release of Patti LuPone at Les Mouches, a recording of her legendary 1980 solo nightclub show.
Earlier this week, LuPone was honored by Primary Stages at their annual gala. In addition to her work as Mama Rose in Gypsy, for which she won her second Tony Award, LuPone will be touring the country with former Evita co-star Mandy Patinkin in 2009.
