Oxygen to Premiere Center Stage: Turn It Up on November 1; DVD Release Set for January

Oxygen will air the world premiere of Steven Jacobson’s Center Stage: Turn It Up, the sequel to the 2000 film Center Stage, at 8pm on Saturday, November 1, with a DVD and Blu-ray release set in January 2009.

Set in the world of ballet, the film stars Peter Gallagher, last seen on Broadway in The Country Girl, American Ballet Theater’s Ethan Steifel, and actors Rachele Smith, Kenny Wormald, and Sarah Jayne Jensen.

The DVD and Blu-Ray editions, to be released by Sony Home Pictures, will include extensive bonus features, including a special featurette on the film’s choreography.
