Original Cast Recording of Lea Salonga’s Cinderella to be Available on iTunes

The original cast recording of the current international tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, starring Tony Award winner Lea Salonga in the title role, will be made available exclusively on iTunes, beginning on Tuesday, October 28.

The show, which began its 30-week run in Manila on July 29, is directed by Bobby Garcia, with choreography by Vince Pesce. The cast includes Peter Saide, Julia Cook, Jen Bechter, Brandy Zarle, Charlie Parker, Aaron Galligan-Stierle, Jefferson Slinkard, Janna Cardia, Steve Gagliastro, and Richard Cerato. The creative team features David Gallo (scenic design), Paul Miller (lighting design), Renato Balestra (costume design), and Michael Waters (sound design).

The score, which features several new orchestrations by Larry Blank, includes such classic songs as “In My Own Little Corner,” “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful,” “Ten Minutes Ago,” and “Impossible.” This production also includes two other Rodgers & Hammerstein songs, “The Sweetest Sounds” and “There’s Music in You.”

Salonga won the Tony Award for Miss Saigon and has also appeared on Broadway in Les Miserables and Flower Drum Song. Her many other theater credits include My Fair Lady, Into the Woods, and They’re Playing Our Song. She is one of the world’s most popular concert artists and recorded numerous CDs.
