Mia Barron and Darren Pettie will star as Hillary and Bill Clinton in New Georges’ world premiere presentation of Hillary: A Modern Greek Tragedy with a (Somewhat) Happy Ending, written by Wendy Weiner. Julie Kramer will direct the production, which will play The Living Theater, November 22-December 20, with an official opening on November 24.

Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, and Aphrodite, the goddess of love, have been at war since time immemorial. When a young girl named Hillary Rodham devotes herself to Athena alone–spurning romance, makeup, and attractive hairstyles–Aphrodite takes revenge by having her fall in love with a man of mythical charm and appetites: Bill Clinton.

The cast will also include Heidi Armbruster (Athena), Victoire Charles (Aphrodite), Jorge Cordova (Male Chorus), Charlie Hudson, III (Male Chorus), Jenny Mercein (Female Chorus), and Josie Whittlesey (Female Chorus).

The creative team will include Lauren Helpern (set), Amelia Dombrowski (costumes), Graham Kindred (lighting), and Jill BC Du Boff and Joshua Higgason (sound).
