Laura Linney, Kyra Sedgwick to Be Honored at Muse Awards

New York Women in Film and Television will honor actresses Laura Linney, Kyra Sedgwick at its 28th annual Muse Awards, to be held on December 9 at the Waldorf-Astoria, accord ing to Variety.

Nancy Giles will host the luncheon, which will also honor Nickelodeon president Cyma Zarghami, advertising executive Linda Kaplan Thaler, and Eastman Kodak.

Linney’s many stage credits include Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Sight Unseen, The Crucible, and Holiday. She won the 2008 Emmy Award for her work in HBO’s John Adams.

Sedgwick, who stars in the critically acclaimed series The Closer, has appeared Off-Broadway in The Exonerated, Stranger, and Not Waving. In addition, Sedgwick and her husband, actor Kevin Bacon, will be honored at this year’s New York Stage & Film gala, to be held on Monday, November 10 at Capitale.
