The show Fuerza Bruta, currently running at the Daryl Roth Theatre, will present special “DJ Connection” shows, featuring a live DJ, every Thursday in the fall.

The DJ will weave into the action, transporting audiences with new music mixed into the show’s stunning visuals. Fuerza Bruta — which translates as “Brute Force” — is created by Diqui James, Gaby Kerpel, Alejandro Garcia, and Fabio Daquila, all of whom worked on De La Guarda. As with De La Guarda, which had a long run at the Daryl Roth and also include “DJ Connection” performances, the show focuses on movement; it includes a man running full throttle through a series of moving walls, individuals racing to connect from opposite sides of a whirling sail, and performers frolicking and interacting in a watery world suspended just above the audience.

DJs will include Danny Krivit (October 23), Juan Maclean (October 30), Derrick May (November 6), David Waxman (November 13), and Dave Hollands (November 20), with additional DJs to be scheduled for later performances.

Fuerza Bruta premiered in Buenos Aires in 2005 and has since been seen in Lisbon, London, Bogota, Edinburgh, and Germany.
