Blackhurst, Maye, Mayes, Reams to Appear at MAC Seminar

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs will present a seminar From Boite to Broadway and Back at 6:30pm on Tuesday, October 28 at the Songbook Room at Broadway Baby Bistro (318 West 53rd Street).
The panelists will include singers Klea Blackhurst, Marilyn Maye, Sally Mayes, and Lee Roy Reams. Moderators for the evening will be journalist Sherry Eaker and casting director Kevin Kennison.
The seminar will explore the differences, and similarities, between performing in an intimate cabaret room and performing on a larger stage and how one mode of performing may or may not feed the other. The panelists will offer their expert advice based on vast personal experience, and share thoughts and stories as they look at their careers in cabaret and on stage.
