The National Theatre of Scotland’s critically acclaimed production of Black Watch has extended its run at St. Ann’s Warehouse through December 21, after selling out its current engagement, which was scheduled to end November 30.

Directed by John Tiffany, the show is based on interviews conducted by Gregory Burke with former soldiers who served in Iraq. Viewed through the eyes of those on the ground, the play reveals what it means to be part of the legendary Scottish regiment, what it means to be part of the war on terror, and what it means to make the journey home again.

Black Watch played a sold-out engagement at St. Ann’s in 2007. It has also been seen in Edinburgh, Los Angeles, Australia, New Zealand, and Toronto.
