The Flea Theater will present Thomas Bradshaw’s play Dawn, to be directed by Jim Simpson, to run November 9-December 6, with an official opening slated for November 15.

The play revolves around Hampton, an abusive alcoholic who has completely alienated his wife and children. Can he stop drinking and make up for the past, even amidst some very dark revelations of incest and pedophilia? Bradshaw’s prior work includes Southern Promises, Purity, Strom Thurmond Is Not A Racist and Cleansed.

The production will star Gerry Bamman, Laura Esterman, Irene Walsh, Drew Hildebrand, Kate Benson, and Jenny Seastone Stern. The creative team includes Claudia Brown (costumes), Jeanette Yew (lighting), and Brandon Wolcott (sound).
