Women’s Project Announces 2007-2008 Season

The Women’s Project has announced its offerings for its 2007-2008 season, beginning with its inaugural HotHouse production of Peggy Stafford’s Wapato, December 7-9 and 20-22 at the Julia Miles Theatre. This quirky comedy about women of a certain age will be directed by Rebecca Patterson.

The company’s mainstage season will begin with the world premiere of Trista Baldwin’s Sand (February 1-March 2), about a young American solider in the Middle East, followed by the New York premiere of Catherine Treischmann’s crooked (April 11-May 10), about a 14-year-old aspiring writer who befriends an earnest if hapless born-again girl. In May, the company will also present a site-specific piece Corporate Circus at the World Financial Center.
